Happy 9 month anniversary, Zoe!

Nine months ago today - WOW!! I couldn't have imagined on April 17th what the days since then were going to be like. It has by turns been amazing, frustrating, wondrous, exasperating, and overwhelming...often all within the space of a few minutes. She has grown and changed so much since coming home. Every day her English gets better - she's starting to get 'y' sounds now and I love the way she says "yes." (it sounds kind of like shyesh and it's very cute) She now has tormenting her brother down to a science and her current favorite phrase is "me, too!" But for me, the best part is when I look into her eyes and I know that she's happy. That is worth everything.
