Aaahhh...pumpkin season...and with the appropriate chill in the air, no less. After 3 years without real seasons, we are enjoying this Autumn so much. Today we went to the farm to get our pumpkins and had to take the traditional "kid on a pumpkin" pictures. Caleb, knowing what we're going to do with the pumpkins, was very excited to pick the perfect ones for carving. Zoe, not understanding what we were doing at all, discovered the pumpkins weren't nearly as exciting as the caramel apples. Zoe's adjustment to all of these American traditions is being measured in food...the annual making-of-the-Christmas cookies is going to be so much fun this year!
