We're here and, as of 11:10 a.m., we FINALLY have cable and internet!! Time Warner took their sweet time getting here but now we're back in business. The move went...well, it went...let's leave it at that. The new house is great and the kids have made themselves right at home. They are enjoying the cooler weather and being able to go outside to play in the middle of the afternoon. Unfortunately, Zoe is a mosquito magnet and is currently sporting enough bites to look like she has something the CDC would be worried about. Making the kids even happier, we've been reunited with the dog and cats. The whole family is back together under one roof. Now we're dealing with all of the "stuff" that comes with moving; registering the cars, drivers' license changes, finding a pediatrician and figuring out where to get haircuts...and on and on and on. Caleb went to visit his new school and got a personal tour from his new principal. He got to meet his teacher and seems, if not excited about school starting in two weeks, at least not completely put off by the idea. He is thoroughly enjoying the new house, especially because we have a veritable zoo in our backyard. Our first night here we discovered that a family of 6 deer spend quite a bit of time out back. Our yard is also home to at least 1 groundhog, now affectionately known as Bob. So, we're home!! Enjoy the pictures of Zoe in our new home on move-in day. For some reason she decided this piece of styrofoam made a perfect booster seat and shoe storage unit all in one. Pretty cute.
