Zoe continues to delight and amaze us. She is so happy and full of a sunny energy that she brightens up every day. We have decided that she has the most incredible laugh. She is also very, very stubborn which has led to some of her funnier moments. Some tidbits about her -- her favorite book is "Good Night, Moon" and she sleeps with it every night. Actually, she sleeps on it - she places it on her pillow and rests her head on it. I couldn't imagine it would be very comfortable, but she insists on doing it. She has learned to give kisses and at night, when we tuck her in, she will say "love you" back to us and

blow us kisses. In the past couple of weeks, she has had her first popsicle and her first ice cream cone. Unfortunately, she also has discovered what happens when she sets her ice cream down where the puppy can get it. She was soooo mad - I thought she was going to crawl under the table and give the dog what for. Zoe got her first Barbie and OH MY GOODNESS! Is she a girl, or what? After 7 years of just "boyness" in the house, we are now being inundated with dolls, barrettes, little ponies, play jewelry and anything that is pink, sparkles, glitter, girly-girly-girly. As Caleb says, "Oh good grief." We are looking forward to Zoe meeting her grandparents next week (Andy's Mom and Dad). We are on our way to New York to house hunt -- for those of you who didn't know, we are moving back to New York over the summer. Andy has accepted a terrific principalship near Ithaca and so we're going home. Caleb has really missed his Gaga and Papa in NY and it will be great for both of the kids to get to see them on a regular basis. I'll be sure to post pictures of our trip - it will be a whole new set of firsts for Zoe.
